Remarks & Notes

NYS&W's Utica Branch freight, UT-1, is nearing the end of the roughly half-mile segment of street-running on Schuyler Street. Spring brings a big traffic surge to the feed mills at Sangerfield, and so the NYS&W leases CSX power to assist with the extra carloads, in this case CSX GP38-2 2722 behind Utica Branch staple 3040.
