CraneMasters rescue CSX 6938. In March of 2025, CSX Local L100 struck a loaded coal haul truck in Friedens, PA and the lead engine, GP40 6938 derailed and came to rest in the yard of a neighboring property. On May 4, 2025, CSX and CraneMasters worked to re-rail the locomotive for transport to Somerset Yard. This task took two of CraneMasters custom built 200RS telescoping cranes around four hours to have the engine back on the rails and was a fascinating process to watch.
