| A Series 800 trainset heads south through the 3rd Century Aurelian Walls at Porta Maggiore. Despite its appearance as a tram, this is actually the Roma-Giardinetti Railway, which connects Roma Termini with Giardinetti to the city's east. The route was set to close in 2015 but was instead modernized and continues to operate along a portion of its original length. The total length is 3.4 miles. |
