    Remarks & Notes
In the night 19/20 January 2023 there was a fire in the locomotive depot of the SBB in Schaffhausen. The building has been leased for many years to the company DLM (Dampflokomotiv- und Maschinenfabrik), which has a total of 4 steam locomotives stored there. In addition to three fireless 3-axle steamlocomotives, the large 2-10-0 locomotive 52 # 8055, which had been converted to light oil firing and extensively modernized by DLM, was also heavily damaged. On February 22, 2023 the locomotive was transported from Schaffhausen via Bülach-Winterthur to the Stauffer company in Frauenfeld. The restoration of 52 # 8055 has now been completed and the locomotive has returned to Schaffhausen. As the train protection system is not yet certified, the steam locomotive A 3/5 # 705 from SBB Historic, operated by the Zurich steam group, was used as the lead locomotive. The train from Frauenfeld via Romanshorn-Kreulingen to Schaffhausen is in Etzwilen for a crossing with a Thurbo train.
