On April 11th, 2025, CTDOT/CTrail EMD GP40-3H #6699 leads the Metro-North Railroad's Stamford Switcher, with CTDOT/CTrail Brookville BL20GHM #127, tows disabled Danbury Train 1838 into the station at Stamford, Connecticut on the New Haven Line. Train 1838, featuring an all-CTDOT Mini-Bomb consist, suffered a ground fault issue on its locomotive, CTDOT/CTrail EMD GP40-3H #6699 at Noroton Heights. The disabled train was towed back to Stamford Yard.
