| UP 1507 took an interesting route to its "North Yard Switcher" status. It was apparently built in April 1969 (so 55 years old in this picture) at Baltimore & Ohio GP40 #3738, then made it to it's main road service life as Southern Pacific GP40-2 #7129, and now as GP40M-2 #1507 (since at least 2006), and has apparently found a life in Colorado along the Front Range. |
