    Remarks & Notes
Batten Kill Heritage RS-3, in very faded orange. honors the Greenwich & Johnstown, a subsidiary of the Delaware & Hudson in Washington County. But don't get the party balloons just yet-- 4116 is moving but not on its' own. RS-3 3501 and RS-36 5012 had to shuttle 4116 out of its' spot in the siding to conduct a series of switching moves setting up an afternoon BK-F of 32 empties to Eagle Bridge.

New York state has the largest number of ALCO diesel locomotives working in everyday service. Here are some of them. Soon I hope to chronicle all of them.
