Remarks & Notes

At St. Paul NS' former N&W and CSX's former Clinchfield parallel and cross each other alongside the Chinch River. Here a southbound coal train rounds the curve approaching the point where they go their separate ways. In those days things weren't exactly busy but now you might see one train a day. CSX may improve. Little chance NS will.
