Blue Budds.
A pair of Reading, Blue Mountain & Northern (RBMN) Rail Diesel Cars (RDCs) are seen approaching Millers Crossing Road outside Molino, PA, as they return to Reading Outer Station with an excursion from Jim Thorpe. Leading the way is RDC-1 (phase I) no. 9168: ex-SEPTA, originally built as New York Central RDC-3 no. M499 in 1950 - at some point the car was converted to an RDC-1; the bodywork filling in the baggage and RPO doors is readily apparent. Second in the consist is RDC-3 (phase II) no. 9166: ex-Reading Co, originally built as Boston & Maine 6305 in 1958.
