| “Flushing Out Track Defects”
On the afternoon of April 22, 2025, Long Island Rail Road’s "TC-82" Track Geometry Vehicle passes the New World Mall as it crosses Main Street in the Flushing neighborhood of Queens, New York, on the Port Washington Branch. Built by Plasser American Corporation, TC-82 is used to perform track inspections across the LIRR system.
