| Toronto to Vancouver train 101 makes its way down the main track at Marathon East. Craigs Pit in the background was used to construct the railway and later in the early 1900's used to fill in several wooden trestles along the north shore. The spur remains hidden in the growth at the base of the sand hill now locally known as Hawks Ridge giving a panoramic view of the Lake Superior shoreline and of course CP's mainline. |
