| Pull Curve.
San Francisco Municipal Railway (Muni) cable car 6 is seen whipping around the pull curve from Hyde Street onto Washington Street, operating Powell-Hyde service to Powell / Market. Curves on the cable car network are either "pull" curves or "let go" curves depending on the grades, with uphill moves requiring the cable to be gripped the entire way through and downhill moves requiring the cable to be fully released through the curve. |
