| Last Car.
San Francisco Municipal Railway (Muni) cable car 1 is seen resting in the street at Hyde St / Beach St, waiting to be turned for its next trip as one of the night's last runs on the Powell-Hyde line. Car 1 was built in 1973 by Muni forces, using parts leftover from a previous car. It sports an approximation of the original Powell Street Railway Co. livery from the 1880s. |
