| “Avelia Meets CTrail on the High Side”
On the morning of May 20th, 2025, Amtrak Avelia Liberty (Acela II) Trainset #11 (power cars 2116/2117) departs Track 10 at New Haven Union Station in Connecticut as a CTrail Hartford Line train idles on Track 12. Amtrak trains and through-movements typically use Tracks 1 through 4, but ongoing track work led to this test train operating via Track 10 instead.
