| To mark the 20th anniversary of Zentralbahn, a merger of the SBB Brünig line (meter gauge) and the Lucerne-Stans-Engelberg Railway (LSE), steam trains of the Brünig Dampfbahn (BDB) circulated between Meiringen and Brienz (loc G 3/4 # 208) and Meiringen and Brünig-Hasliberg (HG 3/3 # 1068). Train 30011 from Meiringen to Brünig-Hasliberg with cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 3/3 # 1068 (built 1926) is tackling the 11 % grade below Brünig pass. |
