| A thoroughbred Dash 9 leads NS 18G from Allentown, PA eastward in New Jersey. Behind the leader are NS 9938 (C44-9W), 7311 (SD70ACU), and NS 9151 (C44-9W). The leader was rebuilt into AC44C6M NS 4419 in January 2011. The second unit was in storage as of August 2025 awaiting rebuild or disposition. The third unit was UP 8153 (SD9043MAC) before being bought by Norfolk Southern in 2015 and rebuilt into SD70ACU NS 7311 in 2017. In early 2021, it was sold to Progress Rail. The fourth unit was rebuilt into AC44C6M NS 4321 in December 2020. |
