Remarks & Notes |
New to the Newark Division.
NJ Transit (NJT) Arrow III car 1319 is seen on the head end of Northeast Corridor Line train 3727 as it makes its station stop at Secaucus Junction. The car is decorated with the logos of the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad, which is one of the railroads whose commuter operations eventually became NJ Transit, including most of the electrified portions of the Hoboken Division. The Arrow III EMUs can operate on the electrification system of either NJ Transit division, but must be manually switched from one voltage to the other. The car has recently been brought the the Newark Division - note the shiny new "12K" sticker - and was on its first day leading trains in heritage livery on the Northeast Corridor. |
