| A Raritan Central Railway crew is seen here picking up cars at Conrail's Metuchen Yard. Behind the leader is fellow high-hood GP38-2 locomotive RCRY 5107. Both engines formerly were engines for the Southern as SOU 5145 and SOU 5107, respectively, before going to Norfolk Southern as NS 5145 and NS 5107. They were sold to Larry’s Truck Electric (LTEX) in 2017 as LTEX 5145 and LTEX 5107 and purchased by the Raritan Central Railway in 2021. CSXT 4451 (formerly CR 3398) can be seen stored in the background. |
