Canaan Railroads.
A variety of railroad equipment was on display for the Canaan Railroad Days at Canaan Union Depot. At left is a line of equipment from the Housatonic Railroad - the local short line, headquartered in town - including GP39-2 no.s 3901 and 3902, GP15-1 no. 1512, RS-3m no. 9935, and caboose 654. At right is New Haven Railroad FL9 no. 2058 (now owned by Webb Rail, LLC) and the last remaining cars of the New Haven Railroad's experimental Roger Williams trainset. The four pieces of New Haven rolling stock were visiting from the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum, having come down the day before for the event.
