Remarks & Notes

ATCX #3118 rests on the head end of the excursion consist in the Austin Steam Train Association yard in Cedar Park. ASTA had leased this locomotive (ex-HZRX #3134) in 2016 when RSD-15 #442 went down for repairs. In 2024, they purchased it. Soon after purchase, it was renumbered to #3118 and plans have been made to paint it in a modified Southern Pacific-inspired "Black Widow" paint scheme, similar to the RSD-15.
