Passengers on the special train of the Rorschach-Heiden Mountain Railway (standard gauge cog railway) enjoy the ride in the open summer cars B # 6 and B # 5. The two carriages weigh only 7 tons when empty and were purchased in 1875 when the railway was built. 150 years later, they are still in daily use during the summer when the weather is good, running between Rorschach Harbor, Rorschach, and Heiden. The five summer carriages are the oldest railway vehicles in Switzerland still in regular service.
