| Electro diesels are able to run on third rail electric pickup or on non electrified tracks used their on board diesel engine, 1600hp on third rail and 600hp on diesel. The locomotive is hauling an engineers inspection saloon allowing staff to make a periodic inspection of the system. 73136 is seen here passing the flyover carrying the high speed line from the channel tunnel to London. 73136 is painted in overall British Railways blue. |
