| IOACIR10 brings empty flats and an unusual lineup of power into LA on a day that the Los Angeles River is actually a river. The train is running from Oakland to City of Industry. Note the Pizza Oven MP15 DPF 1378. She is retrofitted with an industrial scrubber to clean particle exhaust. In the "pizza box" there is a silicon carbide block. It's coming south for the UP Green Locomotive Tour. Also note CIT Leasing 2806 an SD40-2R rebuilt by NRE. This was this unit's 2nd rebuild, as it was one of the 1981 Sulzer engined SD45Ms. It began life as an SD45 back in 1968. |
