| The return excursion to Darlington leaves the Harbour station. normally visited only by Sprinter units. Preserved 40145 is at the rear. Stranraer in SW Scotland was once the main ferry port for boats to Northern Ireland, though most operations have now transferred to nearby Cairnryan. |
