| A 1:1 dummy unit leads the Amtrak train to LA into the station. Central Coast Surfliner 799/798 is the only Pacific Surfliner that operates with single-level equipment. Ever since the train was added as a second daily run between SLO and LA, the intent has been to one day extend it all the way up the Coast to San Francisco. For now, it spends its afternoons sitting in SLO. |
