| This coal load is down to 1 unit as they approach Monmouth. A traction motor fire on the 9518 caused this train to stall at Kirkwood, IL (the water tower in the distance). Finally going again and over the hill, the rear GE is doing all the work trying to make Galesburg, IL. 4 coal loads will slowly follow this problem child into Galesburg. |
