| Norfolk Southern local train D31D departs Springfield, Ilinois and approaches the former site of Iles Tower, where the NS once crossed the UP Springfield sub at grade on a diamond crossing. Iles was removed and replaced with a redesigned track layout and switches.
Todays train is bound for Bluffs, alongside the Illinois River. |
