| The Santa Fe Trail was used from 1821-1880, it was a major artery for expansion westward during the "Manifest Destiny" days. I wonder which mode of transportation replaced these trails? Some Santa Fe warbonnets would look real nice in this scene! My grandpa is really into the history of the Santa Fe trail and the western days so that was my main motive for taking this picture, I've had it printed and framed to give to him for Christmas. |
