| After uncoupling from its train, the power for NS 750 scampers past the steep connection to the old Piedmont & Northern which climbs out of the north end of the Gastonia trench. The power will run down to the south end of double track at Arlington and run around its coal drag to pull it the few miles back to Duke Power in Belmont. |
