Privately owned Ae 4/7 10997 from 1933, based at Mendrisio, can often be seen runing over the Gotthard line. Here she is passing the famous church of Wassen, wrapped in red for some days for the celebration of 125 years Gotthard line. The engine is now on the middle level, the lower level you can see left from the church (with lineman's hut 23as at the Wattinger curve), the upper level (portal of Entschigtal avalanche gallery) is visible in the background above the locomotive.
