Due to the Flood of '08, this train is taking the long way to get from Huron to Chicago Clearing. Instead of crossing the Mason City Subdivision into Marquette, IA this train came straight east from Waseca, MN to Minnesota City. At MN City, the train took CP rails down to LaCrescent, MN where it got back on IC&E rails for the trip to Marquette. Within a mile this train will cross the flooding upper Iowa River.
