Remarks & Notes

Nestled between the rising peaks of the Chugach Mountains and the tidal flats of the Turnagain Arm, The Spirit of Alaska leads a rare daylight move northward from Whittier to Anchorage. The 82 cars in tow arrived in Whittier via several rail barge deliveries, and are now headed to the ARR's main classification yard in Anchorage.
