| With the massive AmerenUE Sioux Power Plant looming in the background, BNSF 9592 leads a 1x1 train of coal empties North on the K-Line through the tiny town of Machens. The CB&Q and MKT used to share trackage from St. Louis to Machens, where the Katy split off and headed West to Kansas City. Long abandoned, the MKT ROW is now the Katy Trail. |
