Remarks & Notes

In a close approximation of a famous California Zephyr publicity view used by WP for the 1954 Annual Report cover, the 1994 Portola excursion train crosses Clio Trestle in early evening sun, inbound from the Bay Area for a weekend of local excursions. The A-B-A E unit set is hauling 15 cars (including 6 domes) EB. (963B and 949 trail)
