TRE 568 has just arrived late at Centerport/DFW on its way to Fort Worth on a blistering 109F day. Texas heat sometimes call for slow orders to reduce the possibility of rail buckling and derailments.

Some of the best passenger locomotives that EMD ever made (aside from the F40PH). With all Amtrak F59s gone from the Surfline, the only place that they can be seen is with Caltrans (Amtrak California).
