With a dusting of snow to be seen on Moel Hebog, 31285 crosses Pont Briwet at Penrhyndeudraeth returning from the Pwllheli leg of the 1Z12 07.45 Machynlleth to Derby RTC Serco test train. Now that plans have been announced to replace this rail/road bridge with a new ￡15m combined rail, road, and cycle bridge, this could be the last time a loco-hauled train is seen crossing the old trestle bridge in daylight.
