| On a quiet Indian Summer afternoon a Guilford painted geep reposes at Rochingham Junction at the start of the Portsmouth Branch. Overhead is an ancient "Telltale" that has not served a purpose in four decades since roof walks on freight cars were banned. It and the old depot just behind the photographer are the only relics of Rockingham's Boston & Maine heritage besides the rails themselves. |
