| The ARR's annual Colony Christmas train creeps slowly north at 10 MPH on the ARR's Palmer Branch passing the Alaska State Fairgrounds. This annual train is the only time one can photograph a train at the very far end of the 6-mile branch adjacent the historic downtown depot. The temperature has climbed to -4 during the "heat of the day" here just shy of 2:30 PM! |
