| Having paused at Browning to pick up the two autoracks on the headpin, this westbound manifest is pushing it's way through the fierce blowing snow and below zero temps. Having crested the small summit it is downgrade to Glacier Park before the real climb to the continental divide begins. This was my first visit to Marias Pass, and while the weather didn't afford me any views of the famous mountain backdrops, I wasn't dissapointed with the train traffic or the photos I was able to manage. |
