Remarks & Notes

There are some half a dozen re-crew "pads" in the Fremont, NE area. Here a couple eastbounds have stopped about five miles east of town, at Mercer, to receive Fremont-Boone, IA crews. The 5893 moves out with a Pleasant Prairie, WI coal train while grain empties behind former CNW C44AC 8801 wait to follow.
