Remarks & Notes

The ARR 1552 is seen at the very far end of the ARR's mile long APU Industrial Lead after making a switch move. She has returned to spot up two gondolas for loading of a portion of the mountain of scrap metal seen to the left. The scene is a bit prophetic as the 1552 and her three sisters have been sold to Broadway Rail and Equipment Company in Chicago....hopefully not for scrap, but for a new life in the lower 48.
