| One of the thrills of CTC and two main tracks is the possibility of catching two trains running together in tandem. At the west end of Soldier Summit, Union Pacific's Denver-Salt Lake manifest has just beat Utah Railway's Savage-IPP coal load to the top of the hill by a half a mile. Of course a 38 car manifest had little trouble outrunning an 85 car coal load up the grade. |
