| After a broken rail halted traffic on the single track between the Air Force Academy and Monument, the floodgates opened with five northbounds passing by the Academy switch in about 45 minutes. Here DPUs push coal empties up the grade and by coal loads on the main. Not sure if the term's been coined before, but I think a blue CFEX leaser on the end of a train should be called a caBluese...or maybe that's just me. More info at Front Range Railfanning. |
