| An empty ethanol train blows thru the east end of the siding at Beth. As you can see the Dubuque Sub is anything but flat between Waterloo and Dubuque. The elevators is the town of Masonville, 4 miles away. The curve in the siding was due to the mainline signal that was once on the right side and the siding was curved around it for clearance. Since then the signals have been upgraded but the curve remains. |
