| Remember when you first experienced the thrill of railroading? A kindly grandfather is photographed introducing his grandson to the wonders of railroading at the joint Utah Railway-Union Pacific yard at Provo, Utah. I had much the same experience as a young kid when my father brought me to these very same rails while I watched in wonder as Alco RSD4's and EMD TR5 'cow and calf' switchers smoked it up while kicking coal hoppers in the joint yard at Provo. |
