| Good Friday it certainly was - the lure of an actual freight train along the direct Melbourne to Ballarat line in daylight saw many photographers spent the afternoon chasing this probably once a year event - G525/X39/XR553 brings 9141 to Merbein (near Mildura) down around the Parwan Curves near Bacchus Marsh on Goof Friday 2009. The curves were realigned and track speed almost doubled about 5 years ago. |
