| German 426 series EMU leaves Nittel after a stop at the platform (the village at the right), continuing its ride from Trier to Perl along the Mosel river. The left border of the river is the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The horizontal lines above on the cliffs betray that there were landslides in the past. Short after canalization of the river (1964) in January 1965 an important landslide threatened the village and wineyards. |
