| Beggars can't be choosers! While she may be tiny, NHVR 17 is the only operating standard gauge steam loco in the Carolinas these days. In a busy work day at Bonsal, 17 undergoes a 245 psi. hydro test for the FRA inspector. Note the uncapped steam dome and the loco's air tanks lying in the grass to the right of the crew.
