South Branch Valley GP9R no. 92 leads the railroad's Chessie-painted GP9, no. 6240, and a short train northward between Romney and Green Spring, West Virginia. The state-owned railroad is best known for hosting the Potomac Eagle excursion train, but also provides daily freight service on the 52.4-mile ex-Baltimore & Ohio line between Green Spring and Petersburg.
