This old and rejected spur was once a part of a network of dock tracks that serviced warehouses for Lake Michigan freighters. Fortunately, the mainline hasn't suffered the same fate. Here, GR 3839 pulls a short cut of cars after servicing Sappi Paper mill, which, unfortunately, closed on April 1st for six months due to the poor economy.
